AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION
This educational campaign for the American Heart Association featured over 100 films, teaching people what to do in scenarios ranging from hyperthermia to cardiac arrest with a balance of scientific specifics and creative animations. A team of 2 post-producers, 5 editors and 3 animators across America, Europe and the UK worked on the 134 films. The films and animations had to follow very particular regulations and guidelines to demonstrate life-saving techniques, along with being compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
In addition to the educational tutorials, there were testimonial films focused around survivors of traumatic experiences, and how they were saved by people who knew the correct steps to take. Being used as an example of how important it is to know the basics of First Aid and CPR, and how one moment can quickly and unexpectedly transform someone's life.
